Grove Park Foundation COVID-19 Emergency Fund

Your Donation will support Grove Park families and seniors

as they weather loss of income, housing instability, and food access issues.

Truly understanding the needs of the Grove Park residents during these trying times is a day-by-day evolving effort. Grove Park Foundation’s years of work as a Community Quarterback have positioned us uniquely to hear from our neighbors and work together with them address those needs. Residents of Grove Park are vulnerable in a multitude of ways:

95% + of students depend on school for breakfast and lunch each school day and now face challenges to access healthy food
75-80% of employed residents work in the service industry and are now experiencing immediate and drastic loss of income
Seniors feel unsafe gaining access to food, medicine and other essential items.

Emergency funds are supporting emergency rent and utility subsidies for residents who have experienced a loss of income or employment to prevent eviction and displacement as well as ensuring access to food and other necessities. We have established an intake program with key community partners for screening and referrals.
